What is Hash
First off, it’s an essential stash staple for any weed lover looking for a full-bodied and balanced high!
If you look closely at a cannabis nug, you’ll notice tiny, shimmering crystals on the surface. Those are trichomes, and they’re packed with all the cannabinoids and terpenes that get us high.
Hash is made by gently separating those resin-filled trichomes from the rest of the flower using manual, solvent-free techniques. Depending on the method, the texture and consistency can vary from soft and pliable to dry and crumbly, but the essence stays the same: pure, concentrated cannabis crafted with care.

- Brown sugar-like texture
- Best consumed by sprinkling into a joint or on top of a bowl
- Firmer texture, malleable when warm
- Can be consumed in a variety of ways: shape into a disk and add it to a bowl of flower, form a snake-like shape and roll it into a joint, use the glass and pin method, hot knives, or our favorite — a traditional hash dome.
- Softer and more flexible
- Best consumed by sprinkling into a joint or on top of a bowl for extra flavor and potency kick
- Gooey, almost honey-like consistency
- Can be dabbed on its own, and many brands use it to infuse edibles and joints, or make cartridges
What does a hash high feel like?
Hash has a unique effect profile characterized by a comforting, velvety body high that enhances the senses and promotes a sense of peacefulness. Who wouldn’t want to indulge in that? For many, these effects help free the mind, boost productivity, and spark creativity. For others, it might lead to a great yoga or stretching session, playing video games, or even eating a tube of Pringles and rewatching Super Troopers for the 420th time. You’ll just have to try it to discover what it does for you!
