I wish I could say this recipe was passed down from generation to generation, but you have to start somewhere. It’s time to dust off that waterproof patio furniture and invite your best buds over because tonight you’re making the tastiest, terpiest vinaigrette sauce in Seattle. And it’s not just for salads! This infused dressing is just as versatile as the plant it was infused from. Pour it on your favorite leafy greens or spread it on hamburger buns to give that burger a good buzz. Use it in coleslaw, drizzle over corn on the cob or use it to marinate your meats. The possibilities are endless. This recipe is sure to satisfy everyone hungry for a good time!
Keep remaining dressing refrigerated, as it should last up to a week.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Get out a mixing bowl or blender and add:
2 tbsp of red wine vinegar
+ 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
+ 1 small clove of garlic, grated
+ 1-2 tsp of dijon mustard
+ 1 Tbsp of mayo
+ salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
BEFORE adding the oils, whisk together everything you’ve added to the bowl so far.
Now, while continuing to whisk, add:
4 Tbsp of Olio Infused Olive Oil
+ 4 Tbsp of non-infused regular olive oil
1. add fresh herbs (like dill, basil, oregano, or parsley)
2. add citrus (instead of the red wine or balsamic vinegar)
3. add anchovies (to make it Caesar-like)
This salad dressing is for topical use only made with food-grade ingredients *wink*, if consumed it WILL get you high.
How to calculate the THC mg’s per Tbsp of your finished dressing:
First, read the label of the Olio bottle you purchased. Divide the total on the label by 16. That will tell you how many mg’s of THC are in each Tbsp of the Olio on its own. If you followed the recipe and added 4tbsp of Olio, then multiply the number you got by 4. That will tell you how many total mg’s of THC is in your finished dressing. After mixing all of the dressing ingredients together you should have approximately 13 Tbsp’s of dressing (just over 3/4 c.), so to find the mg’s per tbsp of the dressing, take the product from your last calculation and divide it by 13. Ta-da!
