How to Make a Joint Holder Valentine

Show that special person in your life how dope they are with a weed inspired Valentine’s Day card! We’re here to help with an illustrated guide to making a built-in joint holder valentine. You can print one of our cards by clicking on one of the links below, or make your own from scratch. Either way, it’s a great way to show you care by sharing a joint with someone you love!

Supplies:

  • Printed PDF from one of the links above (or one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper)
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick (or double-sided tape)

Step One:
Cut along pink dotted lines so you have two rectangles. One should be slightly smaller than the other. Your card will have two layers, and the smaller rectangle will be for the inner layer. Then fold each rectangle in half.

Step Two:
Make two slits (just under 1/2 inch each) in the inner piece by cutting perpendicular to the folded edge toward the center. Then push the section between the two slits, through to the other side, and fold. This will be the part that holds the joint.

Step Three:
Place the folded inside layer, inside of the outer layer to make sure everything fits. This might be a good time to slide your joint through the section in the middle to make sure that fits too!

Step Four:
Apply glue to the inside of the outer layer of your card. Avoid putting any glue in the center section that corresponds to where your joint holder is on the other piece. Line up the inner sheet, like the photo below, and press to adhere.

Step Five:
Stick your joint inside the holder, write a cute message, and hide it somewhere for your friend, partner, or roommate to discover!

Ta-dah!
